About us

MOCni PoMOCni is an initiative through which children and young people from small towns and villages with a more difficult start in life will receive the inspiration and self-confidence needed to build a sense of agency, influence on shaping their lives, involvement in the local community and arousing motivation to learn.

 

How do we want to achieve this? Through weekly, hour-long videoconferences of the child (POWERFUL) with a volunteer (HELPING), whose listening skills, life experience and achievements will be a window to the world for the child. The entire initiative is based on conducting conversations via the Internet. Thanks to this, we can reach children from every corner of Poland, especially those from smaller towns and villages, and also engage professionally active people and students whose busy schedules usually prevent them from helping, and whose rich biographies and successes will show children that they too can achieve what they dream of.
